On a side note, the download button in "My Downloadable Products" is black, not red, and I can't click on it. I've submitted a ticket to their support but their game literally just launched, so I'm expecting they've got a ticket queue a mile long already. MachineIdentifier.exe seems to work (if I run it in CMD it spits out a long code that looks like it's in hexadecimal), and WatchDog.exe pops up an error saying "Failed to find file application path :".Īnybody know what is going on here? Google found a bunch of other people with the same or similar problems but no fixes. So do CrashReporter.exe, Elevate.exe, and HardwareReporter.exe. I've tried running Client-Installer.exe and EDLaunch in every possible combination of uninstalling, reinstalling with Client-Installer.exe, rebooting, and running EDLaunch in the default directory (C:\Program Files (x86).) and another (F:) running as admin and not with my virus scanner (MSE) enabled and disabled, and absolutely nothing has made any difference.ĮDLaunch.exe crashes as soon as I run it, every time. Turns out there isn't a different installer, so now I'm stuck with this. Figured it'd probably be fixed when I got the installer for the real game on launch day today.
